Health Camp at Meera Bagh JJ cluster

Heal India conducted the July 2014camp in collaberation with NGO - NIPUN at JJ cluster of Meera Bagh,West Delhi. Around 250 patients were examined and medicines were dispensed free of cost to all patients.A large number of persons attending the camp had skin diseases like Pyoderma,Scabies,Dermatitis etc due to the unhygienic conditions prevailing at the JJ Cluster.Heal India appreciates the good work done by NIPUN for the residents at the cluster but a whole lot still needs to be done .Our Doctors and volunteers were appalled by the magnitude of garbage and dirt lying around the place.As a Health Care personal I am extremely concerned about the lives of these people. I was told that this very evening a prominent political leader is scheduled to visit this place.This news didn't stir any emotion in me as many such must have come and gone and delivered tall promises which are never to be fulfilled. I feel helpless and sleepless as I can expect only Nightmares ! My thanks to Dr.P.S.Aman,Dr.Amit,Dr.Neelima ,Mr and Mrs.Bhargava,Mr.Pandya,Dilip and Sunil for participating in the camp and to NIPUN for giving us the opportunity to conduct the camp at their premises.
